Who we are

This site is operated by Afrifounders Venture Studio for the Afrifounders Graduate Trainee Programme 2026. Questions about anything on this page can be sent to gtp@afrifounders.com.

Your application

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number and NYSC status. Your application adds the answers you give in the form, together with the CV and passport photograph you upload. If you reach the later stages, we also hold your assessment answers and your video submission.

We use this to run the programme's selection process and to contact you about your application. Uploaded documents and videos are stored privately, outside the public web root, and are readable only by you and by authorised members of the Afrifounders team.

How we know where applicants come from

We run our own first-party campaign measurement so we can tell which posts, partners and communities are actually reaching graduates — and put our effort where it helps most. No third-party advertising or analytics service is involved, and nothing about you is shared with one.

When you arrive on this site we record, in a cookie set by this site alone:

• the campaign tags on the link you followed, when it has them (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term);
• the domain that referred you — for example linkedin.com — but never the full page address;
• which page of this site you landed on first;
• when you first arrived, and when you registered.

If your link carried an advertising click identifier (Facebook's fbclid, Google's gclid or TikTok's ttclid) we record only which platform it came from, plus a one-way cryptographic hash of the identifier. The identifier itself is never stored, never shown anywhere, and never added to any link we send you.

We keep the source you first arrived through and, separately, the most recent tagged campaign you returned through. The cookie is set by this site, is not readable by JavaScript, and expires after 90 days. We do not track you across other websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share this information.

Only the parameters listed above are ever read from a web address. Everything else in a link is ignored entirely.

The question in the application form

The application form asks how you first heard about the programme. Your answer is used only to understand which channels reach graduates. It has no effect whatsoever on how your application is assessed.

Other cookies

This site also sets a session cookie and a security token that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. It uses no third-party advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

Your choices

You can clear this site's cookies in your browser at any time; doing so removes the campaign information described above from your device. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete your account and application, email gtp@afrifounders.com.

Emails we send

We email you about your application: account verification, password resets, confirmation that your application was received, and the outcome at each stage. These are transactional messages about your own application, not marketing.
